Gillian Walker SC has a broad-ranging, national commercial and public law practice, with particular expertise in complex commercial disputes, regulatory actions, and employment and industrial matters.
Gillian has more than fifteen years’ experience appearing as Counsel in state and federal courts and tribunals. She acts for a diverse range of parties, across all levels of the private sector and government.
Prior to coming to the Bar in 2010, Gillian was a tipstaff to the Honourable Paul Stein AM KC on the NSW Court of Appeal, before working in the litigation practices of Minter Ellison (Sydney) and DMAW Lawyers (Adelaide). She is an active member of the South Australian Bar Association and Law Society of South Australia as a member of Bar Council and a variety of committees associated with the advancement and regulation of the legal profession.
