Before commencing at the Independent Bar in 2026, Ellen practised as Special Counsel in a broad range of civil litigation and dispute resolution matters. Ellen’s practice has a particular focus on corporate and personal insolvency. Her experience spans advising liquidators, trustees and commercial clients including in debt recovery actions, public examinations, court-appointed trusteeships, and applications for judicial directions.
Ellen is actively engaged in the profession as a member of the Australian Law Council Business Law Section Insolvency and Reconstruction Committee and a committee member of the Women in Insolvency Network (SA).
Ellen accepts briefs in general civil and commercial litigation, personal and corporate insolvency matters, contract, equity, estates, trusts and general construction disputes.
