Bernie primarily undertakes advice work in the areas of taxation, trusts and estates, succession planning, property, commercial and valuation matters. He appears in the Supreme Court, Federal Court and tribunals exercising jurisdiction in such matters.

Bernie has an LLB (Adelaide), GDAq (Deakin), MAq (Deakin), MIT (UniSA), MTax (UNSW), LLM (UQ) and a PhD (UBC).  In addition to his academic qualifications Bernie has interests in information technology and aquaculture, fisheries, and natural resource law. He is a regular presenter on taxation, trust, and related matters.
